What are you most passionate about personally? Professionally?I’m very passionate about traveling. I love seeing different scenery, cultures, and people speaking their native languages.
Professionally, I love seeing my designs come to life. It’s different when we design on the screen vs. going and seeing it in person. My favorite part to see is the lighting in person. Seeing a circle on screen as a light fixture doesn’t just look like a circle in person. Lights really make a difference in an area. They’re not just used for lighting spaces now; they’re used as décor pieces.
What is your favorite family tradition?I love Thanksgiving with my family. We cook amazing food, sit as a family, eat, joke, laugh, and just make memories.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?I have always wanted to be a lawyer. I took a debate class in high school and was pretty good at it. I spoke with some lawyers and realized I didn’t want the busy life of working all the time. I wanted a somewhat work/life balance, especially if I were to ever start a family.
