What is a problem in the Engineering & Construction Industry you'd like to fix?Schedule expectations & collaboration between the owner, architect/engineer, and contractor. Realistic schedule timelines should be communicated before work begins, with input from the teams, to put the work in place. I also believe there is always room to improve collaboration within the project team, both before and during the project, to reduce assumptions, clarify goals, and ensure the most efficient building process is in place.
Who or what inspired you to pursue this career?I wanted to work in an industry where my efforts lead to tangible results and gave me the opportunity to work on different types of projects.
What is the best advice you can give someone who just started their career?Be curious and ask all the questions you can, be consistent in everything you do, and find a mentor to help guide you.
