C1S is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (PE) to manage commercial and industrial design projects. We design buildings for companies who invest heavily in their real estate because their buildings are critical to their success. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, their constraints, and their criteria for success.

• Develop design solutions, weighing the benefits and risks of various options, and helping the client choose a path forward.

• Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.)

• Coordinate all design disciplines to ensure a comprehensive, code-compliant, and constructable design.

• Manage the client's expectations throughout the design process.

• Communicate with colleagues, external consultants, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules.

• Serve as the Owner's representative during construction (RFI response, Submittal review, Site inspections, etc.)

• Will require some travel, up to 25%

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 8+ years of mechanical design for commercial and industrial buildings

• 4+ years of project management experience

• Design-build project experience preferred

• Cleanroom, data center, “mission critical” facility design experience preferred

• Excellent time management and communication skills
