C1S Group Partners with KDC, Brasfield & Gorrie, and Corgan on New Hugs Café Headquarters and Training Academy


Dallas, TX – October 14, 2025 – C1S Group is proud to announce our role as the commissioning partner for the new Hugs Café Headquarters and Training Academy in McKinney, Texas. The $10 million, 20,000-square-foot facility will provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities expanded opportunities for job training, employment, and community engagement.
Developed by KDC and built by Brasfield & Gorrie, with Corgan serving as the project’s architect, this milestone project reflects a shared commitment to creating inclusive spaces that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
C1S Group’s commissioning team will ensure all building systems operate as designed, efficiently, safely, and sustainably so that Hugs Café can continue its mission in a high-performance environment designed for growth and impact.

The new Hugs Training Academy, located in the Craig Ranch community, will feature classrooms, a commercial kitchen, training spaces, and offices designed to expand the organization’s workforce development programs. The facility will also host events and outreach activities to help adults with special needs build confidence, independence, and long-term employment skills.
This project continues C1S Group’s long-standing partnership with KDC, Brasfield & Gorrie, and Corgan, built on a shared focus of technical excellence and collaborative delivery.
