Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how C1S Group, Inc. ("C1S" or "we") collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website, c1sinc.com (the "Site"). It applies only to information collected through the Site. It does not cover information we collect or process offline or in the course of providing our services.

The Site is intended primarily for business and professional users, and individuals may also apply for jobs through the careers section. We honor the rights described below for anyone whose personal information we process through the Site where the law requires it, and we serve visitors in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you submit a form or otherwise contact us through the Site, we may collect your name, contact details (such as email, phone, and mailing address), company and job title, any résumé or employment information you provide, and the contents of your message or request.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, approximate location (from IP), and dates and times of access, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation; professional or employment-related information; and inferences drawn from the above. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to respond to your inquiries and provide requested proposals or information; operate, secure, and improve the Site; evaluate job applicants; send marketing communications you have requested; and comply with legal obligations. We limit our use to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers who process it on our behalf (e.g., website hosting, analytics, email, recruiting, and IT security vendors) under contracts that limit their use to providing services to us.
• Professional advisors and authorities where necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights, safety, or property.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information. Our analytics cookies may be considered a "sale" or "share" under some state laws; where they are, you can opt out through our privacy controls and the Global Privacy Control (see Section 4).

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and analyze the Site, including these third-party tools:

• Cookiebot (Usercentrics) — consent management. Cookiebot presents no banner of its own; it records the choice you make in our privacy controls and runs before any optional tool so those tools stay off until you allow them.
• Google Analytics — website traffic and usage analytics.
• Vercel Analytics — aggregate, cookieless traffic measurement. It sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and abuse protection on our forms. Your use of Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Storage we set without consent. So that your privacy choice keeps working, the Site stores a small amount of information on your device regardless of that choice: the Cookiebot consent record itself; “C1SConsentSafety,” a first-party cookie kept for up to one year that holds optional cookies off whenever a choice cannot be confirmed; and two browser-storage entries, “c1s:cookiebot-consent-safety-override” and “c1s:cookie-consent-provenance,” which record that same protection and whether a choice was made by you. The Site also keeps first-party lead-attribution storage so we can tell how you reached us when you submit a form. None of these are used for advertising, and none are shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Embedded videos. Videos on the Site are served through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When a player loads or you play a video, your browser may connect to YouTube, and YouTube may store limited information about that playback on your device. Watching a video is not conditioned on accepting optional cookies.

Your choices. Non-essential cookies and trackers load only after you consent through our privacy controls, and you can change your choice at any time in the privacy controls in our site footer. You may also set your browser to refuse cookies. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

United States

Depending on your state of residence — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Texas (TDPSA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of any sale or sharing, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we extend each right where your state's law requires.

Canada (PIPEDA)

If you are in Canada, you may request access to and correction of your personal information and may withdraw consent to our processing, subject to legal and contractual limits. We handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec's Law 25.

Mexico (LFPDPPP)

If you are in Mexico, you have ARCO rights — Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition — and may revoke your consent, under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For sensitive or financial data we rely on your express consent. This Policy serves as our privacy notice (aviso de privacidad).

How to exercise your rights

We will verify your identity using information reasonably necessary to confirm you are the person the data relates to and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent, with proof of authorization, to submit a request on your behalf.

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing [email protected] with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the relevant attorney general or data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party websites and platforms, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in and process personal information in the United States. If you access the Site from Canada or Mexico, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.

12. Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, our collection, use, disclosure, or protection of your personal information, or our data practices (collectively, “Disputes”) shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
