C1S Adds Fortune 1000 Experience to Business Development Team

C1S Group, one of the Southwest’s leading engineering and construction firms has hired Chad Holt. With nearly 20 years of experience working with Fortune 1000 Companies, he joins the C1S team as the Director of Business Development and Marketing.

Chad began his career as a business risk consultant working for Ernst & Young, a multinational accounting firm. In 2002, he transitioned to business development, accepting a position with the Business Solutions Division of Office Depot. During his tenure at Office Depot, Chad took on increasing levels of responsibility with a primary focus on mid-market and enterprise level customers in the central region. The last three years were spent in a corporate strategy position working with C-level executives to design and implement new revenue-generating programs.

“Coming from an industry where I primarily sold the distribution of commoditized products, I look forward to a new challenge where I’ll have the opportunity to sell the expertise and talents of our hard working engineers and construction professionals,” said Chad. “At C1S, my goal will be to help deliver solutions for the unique challenges facing our clients while minimizing disruption and delivering an outstanding return on investment.”

Chad was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Abilene Christian University. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is active both at his local church and in the community. He also enjoys playing pick-up basketball, and is an avid and loyal fan of the Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers and Stars.
