C1S recently partnered with Corgan to complete the new AIM Wing design at the Raytheon McKinney Campus. The new standalone, two-level, 178,0000 sq. ft. tilt-wall building houses user groups that have been relocated from the main building. The main floor comprises approximately 50,000 square feet of ISO 7 cleanroom space, 65,600 square feet of general manufacturing area, and 30,000 square feet of support office space. There are also future classified areas within the new expansion that will require SCIF construction methods. Additionally, a second level comprises approximately 32,400 square feet of office and administrative space to support manufacturing operations. The existing infrastructure systems in the main building and central plant were used to the fullest extent possible to support the new building. The city of McKinney requires the commissioning of all HVAC equipment, lighting systems, domestic hot water systems, and associated controls, as per the 2015 IECC. C1S was contracted to complete this for the client to meet the city’s requirements. Cleanroom certification testing was also included in the scope of work.
