C1S Group, a nationally-renowned full-service professional engineering and construction firm based in Dallas, took home top honors from the SMU Cox School of Business with the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship’s 2014 Dallas 100 TM Award. The award, which recognizes the 100 fastest-growing Dallas-based companies, was presented to recipients at a formal reception on Thurs. Nov. 13, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas. C1S Group ranked 31st out of the 100 honorees.
To be considered for the prestigious award, nominees must be a Metroplex-based, independent, for-profit, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership with at least three years of financial history. Additionally, nominees must have sales of more than $500,000, but less than $75 million in fiscal year 2011; a three-year sales history which reflects growth during the three-year sales period; and a satisfactory credit report as determined by the Dallas 100TM committee. The winners are chosen based on the company’s increased growth in sales, percentage of growth and absolute dollar growth in the three years preceding the event.
“As an entrepreneur and alumni of the Cox School of Business, it is an honor to be recognized by an institution synonymous with business excellence,” said Matt Strong, PE, LEED AP and President of C1S Group. “For nearly 15 years, we have been committed to providing our clients with the best in sustainable construction and engineering solutions, while simultaneously growing and adapting with the newest technologies and trends. We look forward to many more years of continued success.”
In addition to this award, C1S has also been recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the largest North Texas Women-owned businesses.
