As the Senior Electrical Designer, you will be a critical resource that consolidates information from the project manager and will have a committed team of engineering professionals to support you. A Typical Day/Job Responsibilities:
Develop electrical design solutions for advanced manufacturing and industrial projects (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.)
Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines and existing conditions to ensure constructibility and code compliance.
Perform constructibility reviews to support preconstruction team.
Manage and/or support design projects including all communication, coordination, and schedule of deliverables.
Communicate with colleagues, external consultants, and vendors to accomplish design assignments.
Communicate with permitting entities and utility companies to ensure design compliance.
Provide construction administration services (RFI resolution, submittal reviews, shop drawing review, attend project meetings with customer and contractors, final walk through for design compliance inspections).
Will require some travel, < 15%.
About You: (Your Expertise):
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
Professional Engineering License preferred.
8+ years of mechanical design for manufacturing, commercial and industrial buildings.
4+ years of design project management experience.
Design-build project experience preferred.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
