The Difference You Will Make: You’ll be working with an experienced construction team within C1S, and you’ll be partnering with building owners, engineers, and subcontractors to provide an exceptional project experience for all stakeholders. Our projects are new builds and remodels, with GMAX contracts, integrated design-build, and hard bid. Your experience will get you the job; your professionalism, integrity, and customer focus will ensure your success.
A Typical Day & Job Responsibilities:
Proactively plan, communicate, and mitigate changing site safety risks daily.
Serve as the on-site subject matter expert for our contracted scope.
Lead and manage all construction activities on site, coordinating with the client, trade partners, permitting officials, and consultants.
Manage the installation quality with daily walk-throughs and inspections, timely communication of issues, and appropriate escalation to ensure the highest quality installation.
Inspect material and equipment deliveries to ensure compliance with approved submittals.
Work with the C1S project manager to resolve scope and schedule issues, manage client expectations, procurement schedules, critical milestones, and maintain project financials.
Maintain a current “3 Week Look-ahead” to ensure the overall project schedule stays on track.
Protect and develop subcontractor partnerships.
Up to 75% travel with per diem and expense reimbursement.
About You (Your Expertise):
15+ years of construction superintendent experience for commercial and industrial buildings.
8+ years of experience as a traveling superintendent serving as the construction site leader
Substantial experience with clean room solutions, industrial, manufacturing, and food & beverage
Experienced in coordinating work with various trade partners.
OSHA 30 certification.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of using Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office & MS Outlook
