Who We Are: C1S Group is a design and construction firm based in Dallas, Texas with projects across the US. Since 2001, we've been designing and building around unknowns to improve the built environment. We are a family of construction and engineering professionals that provide construction management, field supervision, engineering design, and sustainability services to commercial and manufacturing facility owners. We are proud to have installed projects for Fortune 500 companies in the food & beverage, aerospace & defense, life science, and technology industries. We are experts in our space, and our clients choose us because we stand by our work and deliver value every step of the way. This value driven relationship is what we're all about.

C1S has been ranked in Outside Magazine's List of the 50 Best Places to Work in America for 11 years, and most recently, Dallas Business Journal’s Top 100 Best Places to Work, because we put our people first. If we take care of our folks and make sure they’re doing what they love, they’ll take great care of our clients. This strategy has delivered exceptional results for 24 years. The Difference You Will Make: Are you energized by fast-paced, highly technical projects that shape the future of life sciences? Do you thrive on guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver designs that are as precise as they are groundbreaking? If so, C1S is ready for you.

We’re looking for a Life Sciences Project Manager who can keep Fortune 1000 clients confident, design teams sharp, and projects on-track from kickoff to ribbon cutting. This isn’t just about managing schedules and budgets (though you’ll master those too)—it’s about steering projects that help labs, pharmaceutical facilities, and medical innovators push the boundaries of possibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Command the full life cycle of engineering design projects—from scope and safety to schedules and client satisfaction.

  • Lead interdisciplinary teams (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, process piping) like a conductor leading a world-class orchestra.

  • Keep clients so impressed they’ll wonder if you’ve cloned yourself.

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and permitting agencies to ensure designs are not just compliant, but constructible.

  • Balance risks, budgets, and big ideas without losing your cool—or your sense of humor.

  • Represent C1S out in the world—building relationships, expanding networks, and making our life sciences presence stronger than ever.

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

  • A PE license (we’re serious about this one).

  • 5+ years of design project experience, preferably in a firm that knows its way around clean rooms and controlled environments.

  • 3+ years in REVIT and Trane Trace (bonus points if you can explain them to non-engineers without losing them).

  • A background in life sciences facility design (pharma, labs, med spaces).

  • Leadership skills that inspire, communication skills that resonate, and time management skills that would make a Swiss watch blush.

  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball—or the beaker.

The Perks:

  • Work on projects that truly matter in the life sciences industry.

  • Collaborate with brilliant minds across disciplines.

  • Travel occasionally (<15%) but still call your own lab (or office) home.

  • Grow your career while shaping the future of healthcare, science, and technology.
