The Difference You Will Make: Do you see mechanical systems where others see blank ceilings? Can you look at an aging facility and instantly imagine the ductwork, piping, and equipment that will bring it back to life?

If you enjoy solving complex building challenges, collaborating with smart engineers, and turning field conditions into buildable designs, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re hiring a Sr. Mechanical Designer to help deliver innovative mechanical solutions for commercial and industrial renovation projects. This is a role for someone who thrives in the details, from conceptual design and equipment selection to producing construction-ready documents in REVIT.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a central part of the design team, translating ideas and field data into coordinated mechanical systems that actually work in the real world.

  • Designing mechanical systems for commercial and industrial renovations

  • Developing equipment layouts, ductwork, and piping systems

  • Creating Revit-based construction documents

  • Performing engineering calculations and preparing technical specifications

  • Coordinating with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams

  • Visiting project sites to verify conditions and gather data

  • Participating in kickoff meetings, coordination meetings, and design reviews

  • Communicating with vendors, consultants, and permitting agencies

  • Supporting project managers with schedule coordination and quality delivery

  • Mentoring and guiding junior mechanical designers when needed

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

  • 8+ years of mechanical design experience in commercial or industrial renovation.

  • 5+ years in REVIT.

  • Strong experience with mechanical equipment sizing and layout, duct sizing and routing, and pipe sizing and routing.

  • Experience performing site walks, as-builts, facility audits, or design verification.

  • The ability to balance multiple projects without losing attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teammates.

Bonus points if you have experience with design-build projects, cleanrooms, data centers, or mission-critical facilities.

The Perks:

  • Work on projects that truly matter.

  • Collaborate with brilliant minds across disciplines.

  • Travel occasionally (<15%).

  • Grow your career while shaping the future.

Tell us about yourself.
